The Cambrian Period

Apparently the Cambrian period is the period in or after which a lot of human development happened. In analogy, a Canadian startup called Cambrian House has started a new kind of outsourcing practice called 'Crowdsourcing'

The idea behind it is this: they invite everyone (the crowd) to send in ideas. They then let the community (the crowd again) select which they think is are the best ideas and start development on them. But they also ask the community (guess what: the crowd!) to participate in the development as well with programming and asset creation.

All in all a nifty idea. Read the site for more info.

And whilst you're on the site; vote for my 4 ideas: StoryLine, GSX, AutoBlog and The Online Larder. Who knows, they might become reality in the future.

Great post SnakeNuts.

I love Cambrian House and hope my ideas too will one day be realized.

I can't wait to vote on the next tournament and see who the contenders are.

All the best.
