Updates? Wee don't need no steenkeeng updates...
But I can't let almost a whole month go by without posting anything to the Blog, can I?
So what's new? Not much, as you might have guessed from the recent quietude. Life goes on and mundane things happen, but nothing spectacular happens, or at least, nothing I can talk about.
Yes, stuff is happening at work, and it's exciting as well, but the process of making thing happen and then wait until they actually do happen is, well, sometimes painstakingly drawn out.
We've got 2 big things going on, and at least 2 more I know about which have been kicked off. On the 'Time Of Defiance' front (the game that we're doing an update for) I can say that we're close to release. I've been working on some nifty particle-effects that not only liven, but also speed up the client a lot.
Google has been pumping out news like no-one. It's a quiet week without any news from my favourite Internet Giant. They released Notes a few weeks ago, with a nifty plug-in for firefox, and they just opened the sneak-preview for Spreadsheet. No guesses for what those modules do.
At the house we're tackling the garden. It's a nice thing to do when the weather is nice (which it is right now) and it can be quite cheap if the only thing you're doing is removing plants and topsoil.
Amanda's starting her new job soon (hi honey!!!) so that's going well soon too...
And that's about it... No news is good news some people say. Well, I don't know. You choose.
